1. Change Your Viewpoint
Position your camera so it's level with the surface of the water and you will get a nice reflection for more of an artsy feel and a professional look.
2. Add Some Color
Adding color to your water will set your photos apart from the rest. Use bright colors that will pop off the water and really catch the naked eye. You can use food coloring for best results.
3. Include A Small Item
Adding something to the splash will give a whole new viewpoint of water drop photography. Trying using something small like fruit or marbles that have contrasting colors to get the best results possible.
4. Use Milk Instead Of Water
Milk will give you a much softer and more of a fine tune effect due to its thickness and texture. Also add some color to really make them stand out and look creamy.
5. Add Contrast
Use of dim lighting conditions and bright colors will allow your water drop to pop off the photo and really catch the viewers eye.
