FOCUS ON THE DETAILS
This auto extension tube is a cheep way to get big time macro results and keep your wallet fat. You can now focus closer then the minimal focal length that your current lens will allow simply by placing distance between your lens and camera body. This shortens the focusing distance and the effect of magnifying your image is created. If you are getting into macro photography you need to check this out.

Extension tubes enable macro performance for lenses not otherwise able to focus that close. This tube set by Vello contains three extension tubes of 13mm, 21mm, and 31mm lengths. You are able to use them individually or together to create the desired magnification. For closer focusing you would use the larger extension tube or stack the tubes together. Don't get fooled by the cheap extension tubes you see on eBay. These have no optical elements to degrade the quality of your lenses. I use this tube kit with the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II. You can read more about that lens here.
These are fully automatic and are able to communicate all electronic functions from lens to camera including autofocus and auto exposure. They are built with metal lens mounts for durability and enable you to convert almost any lens into a macro lens at a fraction of the cost while maintaining the lens' original quality.
